Event Listing & Content Policy
1. Introduction and Trust & Safety Mandate
This Event Listing & Content Policy outlines the rules, verification standards, and moderation guidelines for publishing events on tunyt. As a platform, tunyt prioritizes the safety, security, and trust of our Attendees and the broader financial ecosystem. We maintain broad, absolute discretion to moderate content and police the events hosted on our infrastructure.
2. Event Categories and Visibility
2.1 Private Events (Default Tier)
By default, all newly created events are classified as “Private.”
- Visibility: Private Events are hidden from tunyt's internal search, discovery feeds, and public search engine indexing. They can only be accessed by Attendees who possess a direct URL link or invite.
- Approval: Because they operate within a closed network, Private Events do not require manual approval from the tunyt Trust & Safety team to begin operating, though they remain subject to automated scanning and all acceptable use rules.
2.2 Public Events
Organizers wishing to utilize tunyt's discovery feeds to reach a wider audience must convert their event to a “Public Event.”
- Visibility: Public Events are indexed and searchable across the tunyt platform.
- Requirement: All Public Events require the Organizer to undergo strict verification and are subject to manual review prior to publication.
3. Organizer Verification (KYC)
To list a Public Event, Organizers must successfully complete tunyt's Know Your Customer (KYC) and business verification process.
Organizers must provide accurate, unexpired, and verifiable documentation, which includes:
- Government-Issued ID: Aadhar, passport, or equivalent legal identification.
- Bank Account Verification: Bank statements or voided cheques matching the Organizer's verified legal identity.
- Tax Information: Permanent Account Number (PAN) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration details, where legally applicable.
tunyt reserves the right to request additional documentation at any time to verify the legitimacy of an Organizer or their Event.
4. Event Approval, Rejection, and Platform Discretion
Public listing on tunyt is a privilege, not a right.
- Absolute Discretion: tunyt reserves the absolute, unfettered right to approve, reject, remove, unpublish, de-rank, or stop promoting any Event at any time.
- No Explanation Required: tunyt may execute these actions at its sole discretion, to protect the platform's integrity, and no explanation or justification is required to be provided to the Organizer.
- Featured Events: If tunyt chooses to feature an Event on its homepage or marketing channels, this does not constitute an endorsement, certification, verification, or guarantee of the Event's safety or quality.
5. Prohibited and Restricted Content
5.1 Strictly Prohibited Events
Organizers are strictly prohibited from utilizing the Platform to create, promote, or process payments for the following categories. Any violation will result in an immediate, permanent ban:
- Multi-Level Marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, or Ponzi schemes.
- The sale, distribution, or promotion of illegal drugs or narcotics.
- Pornographic material, sexually explicit content, or unregulated adult entertainment.
- Hate speech, discrimination, or extremist content promoting violence.
- Any event that facilitates, encourages, or conceals illegal activities under applicable local or national law.
5.2 Restricted Events
Events involving the following themes carry high regulatory risk and are considered “Restricted”:
- Alcohol-centric events or festivals.
- Political rallies, campaigns, or partisan gatherings.
- Religious or spiritual ceremonies.
Restricted Events are only permitted if they are entirely lawful, and the Organizer has secured all mandatory local government approvals, licenses, and age-verification protocols. tunyt reserves the right to reject Restricted Events at its sole discretion, regardless of legal compliance.
6. Misleading Information and Copyright Infringement
6.1 Accuracy of Listings
Organizers must provide accurate, truthful, and non-misleading information regarding their Event. The use of deceptive marketing, false speaker announcements, or bait-and-switch venue tactics is strictly prohibited and constitutes grounds for immediate suspension and the refunding of Attendees.
6.2 Intellectual Property Rights
Organizers must only upload content (logos, posters, music, videos) that they fully own or have the explicit legal right to use. tunyt complies with applicable intellectual property laws and will act on legitimate copyright infringement notices.
6.3 Takedown Procedures
If tunyt receives a valid intellectual property complaint or a legal takedown notice regarding an Organizer's Content, tunyt will temporarily remove the contested Content or unpublish the Event pending resolution between the Organizer and the claiming party.
7. Content Moderation and Enforcement
tunyt employs a combination of automated systems, user reporting, and manual review to enforce this policy.
7.1 Progressive Enforcement
For standard, non-severe violations (e.g., uploading a low-quality image, minor formatting errors), tunyt generally utilizes a progressive enforcement model:
Warning → Penalty (e.g., temporary de-ranking) → Account Suspension → Permanent Ban.
7.2 Immediate Termination
tunyt explicitly reserves the right to bypass progressive enforcement and execute immediate termination without notice for severe violations, which include:
- Fraud, identity theft, or financial scams.
- Severe chargeback abuse.
- Hosting of Strictly Prohibited Events.
- Severe threats or harassment toward tunyt staff or Users.
- Any activity creating a severe legal or reputational risk to the Platform.
In the event of immediate termination, tunyt may freeze all pending payouts indefinitely, fully cooperate with law enforcement, and ban the Organizer from ever using the Platform again.
