We collect minimal Personal Information necessary to operate a secure, compliant event infrastructure:
- Attendees: Email address, mobile phone number, transactional details, and any custom event registration fields required by the Organizer.
- Private Event Organizers: Name, email, mobile number, password, and primary payout account details.
- Public Event Organizers: Government-issued ID, bank account verification, Permanent Account Number (PAN), and GST details to complete mandatory Know Your Customer (KYC) verification.
- Automated Data: Device information, IP address, browser type, referral URLs, and platform interaction logs.
2. Use of Information
We process your data for the following essential purposes:
- Platform Execution: Processing ticket orders, generating QR passes, sending transactional SMS/email updates, and disbursing payouts within 48 hours post-event.
- Compliance & Fraud Prevention: Verifying Organizer identity, detecting chargeback abuse, and preventing illegal or prohibited events.
- Corporate Marketing: By default, tunyt reserves the right to use public Event metadata (posters, logos, event names) and aggregated attendee numbers for promotional case studies and investor pitch decks. Organizers can opt out at any time by emailing contact@tunyt.com.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We strictly do not sell personal data. We share information only with:
- Service Providers: Trusted partners assisting with cloud hosting, payment processing (e.g., Stripe, Razorpay), and transactional notifications.
- Legal Authorities: Government, law enforcement, or regulatory bodies (e.g., RBI) when required by court orders, subpoenas, or to mitigate severe legal/reputational risk.
4. Cookies and Tracking
- Session & Persistent Cookies: Used to maintain secure login sessions, process checkout flows, and store basic user preferences.
- Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated usage tracking via standard third-party tools to optimize platform performance. Users may disable cookies via browser settings, though certain platform features may be restricted.
5. Retention, Security, and User Rights
- Data Retention: Account data is retained for the active lifespan of your account. Financial and KYC records are retained in compliance with statutory financial regulations (up to 5–7 years).
- Security: Industry-standard encryption (in transit and at rest) protects your data. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and usage is at your own risk.
- User Rights: You maintain the right to access, correct, or request the erasure of your personal data by contacting contact@tunyt.com, subject to statutory regulatory retention requirements.
